On June 27, 2008, AG Bell members will gather in Milwaukee for AG Bell’s 48th Biennial Convention. AG Bell has a heritage spanning 118 years in support of children with hearing loss and their families, adults who are deaf or had of hearing, and the professionals that assist them in their pursuit of independence through listening and spoken language.

Some of the highlights of this year’s convention include:

  • Four full days and six learning tracks of programs, sessions and social activities focusing on spoken language and listening skill development
  • Professional development with the leading speech and hearing certifying associations in the field
  • A cutting-edge research symposium entitled “Beyond the Cochlear Implant”
  • An exhibition featuring 85 exhibitors, product demonstrations, and education theater and job placement services
  • Creative and inspiring child and teen programs and events
  • Opportunities to greet old friends and make new ones!

Whether you are a parent of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing, a deaf adult or a professional supporting this community, come and experience all that this convention has to offer.
